SEO-optimized blog posts, keyword strategy, meta descriptions, and content calendars that drive organic traffic.
Purpose
Create content that ranks in search and converts readers. This skill combines keyword targeting with compelling writing — not keyword stuffing.
Workflow
Step 1: Gather Context
- Target keyword or topic
- Business/product context (what you sell, who you serve)
- Content goal (traffic, leads, authority, sales)
- Existing content (are you competing with yourself?)
Step 2: Keyword Analysis
- Primary keyword + search intent (informational, commercial, transactional)
- 5-8 secondary/related keywords
- Suggested heading structure using keyword clusters
- Estimated difficulty and volume (qualitative: low/medium/high)
Step 3: Content Outline
- Title (include primary keyword, under 60 characters)
- Meta description (150-160 characters, includes keyword, has a CTA)
- H2/H3 structure covering the topic comprehensively
- Word count recommendation based on competing content
- Internal linking opportunities
Step 4: Write the Post
- Hook opening (no "In today's world..." openers)
- Subheadings every 200-300 words
- Short paragraphs (2-4 sentences)
- Natural keyword usage — never forced
- Actionable takeaways the reader can use immediately
- Strong conclusion with CTA
Step 5: SEO Checklist
- Primary keyword in title, H1, first 100 words, meta description
- Secondary keywords in H2s and body naturally
- Meta description under 160 characters with CTA
- Internal links to 2-3 related posts
- External links to 1-2 authoritative sources
- Alt text for images (if applicable)
- URL slug is short and keyword-rich

Constraints
- Write for humans first, search engines second
- Never keyword stuff — if it sounds unnatural, rewrite
- Don't promise specific rankings or traffic numbers
- Always match search intent — don't write a guide when people want a product

SEO Content creates posts that rank in search and convert readers. It blends keyword targeting with compelling writing, while avoiding keyword stuffing. It also includes meta descriptions and content calendars to sustain organic traffic.
How This Skill Works
The workflow follows five steps: gather context, analyze keywords with intent and clusters, outline with a keyword-driven structure, write with scannable, actionable content, and apply an SEO checklist to optimize on-page elements and links.
When to Use It
- Launching a new blog post targeted at a specific primary keyword
- Updating evergreen content to reflect new keyword intent and freshness
- Building a quarterly content calendar using keyword clusters
- Optimizing meta descriptions and titles to improve click-through rates
- Creating posts that balance search intent with practical, reader-focused value
Quick Start
- Step 1: Gather Context — target keyword, business context, content goal, and existing content landscape
- Step 2: Analyze Keywords — define primary keyword with intent, 5-8 secondary keywords, and a suggested heading structure
- Step 3: Outline and Write — create a keyword-driven outline, write with scannable sections, then apply the SEO checklist
Best Practices
- Prioritize user intent and deliver actionable takeaways, not fluff
- Include the primary keyword in the title, H1, first 100 words, and meta description
- Use keyword clusters to structure the outline with natural placements in H2/H3
- Add 2-3 internal links and 1-2 authoritative external sources for credibility
- Keep the meta description under 160 characters and include a CTA
Example Use Cases
- A SaaS blog post optimized around a primary keyword with a clear CTA to trial
- Updating an evergreen post to reflect updated keywords and search intent
- A quarterly content calendar built from keyword clusters spanning product topics
- A product feature post with optimized meta description and strategic internal links
