Overview
Daily Review Ritual guides an end-of-day reflection to capture progress, insights, and plan tomorrow. It helps surface blockers, log learnings, and set the top priorities for the next day, ensuring continuity across projects.
How This Skill Works
Trigger the process with /daily-review. Navigate through four sections—Today's Activity, Progress Assessment, Capture Insights, and Tomorrow's Setup—and then create or update a structured daily note using the provided Output Format. After finishing, perform the Additional Actions to archive completed work and link discoveries.
When to Use It
- After finishing work for the day to summarize accomplishments across projects
- When you want to identify blockers or things that didn’t progress
- When you need to capture key learnings, new connections, or questions that arose
- When preparing tomorrow’s top priorities and open loops
- When you regularly update project status notes and want consistent daily records
Quick Start
- Step 1: Run /daily-review to start the ritual
- Step 2: Complete Today's Activity, Progress Assessment, Insights, and Tomorrow's Setup sections
- Step 3: Save the note; move completed tasks to archive and link related discoveries
Best Practices
- Set a daily 10–15 minute timebox for the ritual
- Fill all four core sections (Today’s Activity, Progress, Insights, Tomorrow’s Setup) for consistency
- Use the Output Format template to ensure a ready-to-save daily note
- Move completed project tasks to archive as part of the workflow
- Link related discoveries and flag items needing attention for follow-up
