This skill researches company histories and founder profiles to transform boring About pages into compelling 'Hero's Journey' narratives for multiple companies. It weaves the founder's aha moments, key milestones, and real results to humanize brands and boost engagement across an entire list of companies.
How This Skill Works
For each company, the agent searches LinkedIn founder profiles and the company About/News pages to identify the Aha moment and milestones. It then drafts a four-section page: Status Quo, Epiphany, Mission, and Proof, and outputs a branded story file in brand_stories/ plus a summary in story_summary.csv.
When to Use It
- When current About pages feel stale and need a narrative refresh
- When you have a list of companies to produce consistent brand stories for
- When you want to highlight founder journeys and pivotal moments
- When aligning content across multiple brands with a Hero's Journey template
- When building content ops workflows that produce publish-ready brand stories
Quick Start
- Step 1: Gather the companies.csv and confirm the sampleData seed if missing
- Step 2: Research founders and About/News pages to extract Aha moments and milestones
- Step 3: Draft the four-page structure and save as brand_stories/[Company_Name]_story.md; update story_summary.csv
Best Practices
- Anchor the narrative on real milestones and verifiable moments
- Cross-check facts against sources (founder pages, About pages, press) before drafting
- Maintain a consistent Hero's Journey structure across all brands
- Tailor tone to each brand while preserving the universal narrative arc
- Include measurable Proof (numbers, logos, client logos) to bolster credibility
Example Use Cases
- Acme Robotics: from garage prototypes to scalable automation, highlighting the founder's first 3 milestones and the resulting client wins
