LandingRabbit

Step 1 — Check MCP connection

Check if LandingRabbit MCP tools are available (tool names starting with mcp__plugin_landingrabbit_landingrabbit__). Do not mention tool name prefixes or internal details to the user.

If tools are available: Briefly confirm the connection is ready. Move on.

If tools are NOT available: Tell the user the MCP server is not connected. Ask them to run /mcp and authorize landingrabbit. Mention they can still use /landingrabbit:page-format to format copy without the MCP connection. Do NOT show the options list below — stop here.

Step 2 — Ask what the user wants to do

Only show this if the MCP connection is available. Present the options as a short list:

  1. Create a new landing page — describe your page idea, target audience, or paste existing copy
  2. Edit an existing page — change content, styles, or publish status
  3. Format copy for import — use /landingrabbit:page-format to structure copy into LandingRabbit-ready markdown
  4. See all available tools — run /landingrabbit:help

Wait for the user to choose before proceeding. Do not start any workflow automatically.

Overview

LandingRabbit serves as the main entry point to create, edit, and manage landing pages. It begins by checking MCP connectivity and then presents action options. If MCP tools aren’t available, you’ll be guided to connect, with a fallback copy-format option available.

How This Skill Works

The process starts by checking whether LandingRabbit MCP tools are accessible. If connected, you’ll see a concise action menu to Create, Edit, Format, or See tools. If not connected, you’re informed that the MCP server isn’t connected and directed to run /mcp and authorize LandingRabbit, with the option to use /landingrabbit:page-format to format copy without the MCP connection.

When to Use It

  • Starting a new landing page with a clear idea and target audience
  • Editing content, styles, or publish status of an existing page
  • Formatting copy for import so it’s ready for LandingRabbit
  • Exploring available tools to understand capabilities and options
  • MCP connectivity issues where you still need to format copy without full workflow

Quick Start

  1. Step 1: Verify MCP connection status to determine your available actions
  2. Step 2: Choose an action: Create a new page, Edit an existing page, Format copy, or See tools
  3. Step 3: Complete the workflow and publish as needed (or save as draft)

Best Practices

  • Define page idea and audience before creating a page
  • Keep copy consistent with brand voice and CTA goals
  • Use /landingrabbit:help to review available tools and guidance
  • Always format copy with /landingrabbit:page-format before import
  • When editing, publish status changes should be staged and clearly labeled

Example Use Cases

  • Create a product launch landing page with a defined audience and CTA
  • Edit an existing hero copy and update the publish status to draft or live
  • Format a draft copy using page-format to ensure proper markdown structure
  • Inspect tools to see if a formatting or publishing workflow is available
  • MCP is offline; format marketing copy with page-format and queue edits
