Automate Zoho Bigin operations through Composio's Zoho Bigin toolkit via Rube MCP.
Toolkit docs: composio.dev/toolkits/zoho_bigin
Prerequisites
- Rube MCP must be connected (RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS available)
- Active Zoho Bigin connection via
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitzoho_bigin - Always call
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSfirst to get current tool schemas
Setup
Get Rube MCP: Add https://rube.app/mcp as an MCP server in your client configuration. No API keys needed — just add the endpoint and it works.
- Verify Rube MCP is available by confirming
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSresponds - Call
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitzoho_bigin - If connection is not ACTIVE, follow the returned auth link to complete setup
- Confirm connection status shows ACTIVE before running any workflows
Tool Discovery
Always discover available tools before executing workflows:
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "Zoho Bigin operations", known_fields: ""}]
session: {generate_id: true}
This returns available tool slugs, input schemas, recommended execution plans, and known pitfalls.
Core Workflow Pattern
Step 1: Discover Available Tools
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "your specific Zoho Bigin task"}]
session: {id: "existing_session_id"}
Step 2: Check Connection
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS
toolkits: ["zoho_bigin"]
session_id: "your_session_id"
Step 3: Execute Tools
RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL
tools: [{
tool_slug: "TOOL_SLUG_FROM_SEARCH",
arguments: {/* schema-compliant args from search results */}
}]
memory: {}
session_id: "your_session_id"
Known Pitfalls
- Always search first: Tool schemas change. Never hardcode tool slugs or arguments without calling
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS - Check connection: Verify
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSshows ACTIVE status before executing tools - Schema compliance: Use exact field names and types from the search results
- Memory parameter: Always include
memoryinRUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOLcalls, even if empty ({}) - Session reuse: Reuse session IDs within a workflow. Generate new ones for new workflows
- Pagination: Check responses for pagination tokens and continue fetching until complete

This skill automates Zoho Bigin operations using Composio's Rube MCP toolkit. It orchestrates discovery, connection setup, and execution of Zoho Bigin tasks while always querying current tool schemas to stay in sync with changes.
How This Skill Works
First, it uses RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS to fetch available Zoho Bigin tools and their schemas. Next, it establishes or validates a Zoho Bigin connection via RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS with the zoho_bigin toolkit. Finally, it executes the chosen tool using RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL, including a memory payload and the active session_id.
When to Use It
- You need to automate a routine Zoho Bigin operation (e.g., create/update leads or deals) using a defined workflow.
- You want to verify and fetch current tool schemas before scripting to avoid breaking changes.
- You are setting up or re-checking the Zoho Bigin connection (ACTIVE status) prior to automation.
- You need to discover available Zoho Bigin tasks and their required inputs before execution.
- You perform bulk Zoho Bigin operations via Rube MCP using run_composio_tool or bulk workflows.
Quick Start
- Step 1: Verify RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS responds for Zoho Bigin.
- Step 2: Connect to Zoho Bigin with RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS (toolkit: zoho_bigin).
- Step 3: Discover tools and execute a selected one with RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL using the provided schema.
Best Practices
- Always call RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS first to get up-to-date tool schemas.
- Check that RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS shows ACTIVE before running tools.
- Use exact field names and types from the discovered tool schemas.
- Include a memory object in every RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL call, even if empty.
- Reuse session IDs within a workflow; generate new ones for separate workflows.
Example Use Cases
- Discover available Zoho Bigin tools with RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS for a 'Zoho Bigin operations' use case before building a workflow.
- Set up or verify the Zoho Bigin connection with RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS using the zoho_bigin toolkit.
- Execute a discovered tool to create a new Zoho Bigin lead by passing the exact schema fields from the search results.
- Run multiple tools in a single session using RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL and a non-empty memory payload.
- Fetch full tool schemas via RUBE_GET_TOOL_SCHEMAS to understand input types and required fields.
