Automate Aryn operations through Composio's Aryn toolkit via Rube MCP.
Toolkit docs: composio.dev/toolkits/aryn
Prerequisites
- Rube MCP must be connected (RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS available)
- Active Aryn connection via
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitaryn - Always call
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSfirst to get current tool schemas
Setup
Get Rube MCP: Add https://rube.app/mcp as an MCP server in your client configuration. No API keys needed — just add the endpoint and it works.
- Verify Rube MCP is available by confirming
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSresponds - Call
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitaryn - If connection is not ACTIVE, follow the returned auth link to complete setup
- Confirm connection status shows ACTIVE before running any workflows
Tool Discovery
Always discover available tools before executing workflows:
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "Aryn operations", known_fields: ""}]
session: {generate_id: true}
This returns available tool slugs, input schemas, recommended execution plans, and known pitfalls.
Core Workflow Pattern
Step 1: Discover Available Tools
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "your specific Aryn task"}]
session: {id: "existing_session_id"}
Step 2: Check Connection
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS
toolkits: ["aryn"]
session_id: "your_session_id"
Step 3: Execute Tools
RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL
tools: [{
tool_slug: "TOOL_SLUG_FROM_SEARCH",
arguments: {/* schema-compliant args from search results */}
}]
memory: {}
session_id: "your_session_id"
Known Pitfalls
- Always search first: Tool schemas change. Never hardcode tool slugs or arguments without calling
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS - Check connection: Verify
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSshows ACTIVE status before executing tools - Schema compliance: Use exact field names and types from the search results
- Memory parameter: Always include
memoryinRUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOLcalls, even if empty ({}) - Session reuse: Reuse session IDs within a workflow. Generate new ones for new workflows
- Pagination: Check responses for pagination tokens and continue fetching until complete

This skill automates Aryn operations by interfacing with Composio's Aryn toolkit through Rube MCP. It emphasizes always discovering current tool schemas before execution to avoid hardcoding outdated tool slugs and arguments.
How This Skill Works
It uses RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS to fetch available Aryn tool slugs and input schemas. It then validates the toolkit connection with RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS and requires an ACTIVE status before proceeding. Finally, it executes the selected tool via RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL using the discovered slug, schema-compliant arguments, a session_id, and a memory payload.
When to Use It
- Starting a new Aryn workflow when you need the latest tools and schemas.
- When tool schemas may have changed, so you must fetch current schemas with RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS before execution.
- Before running anything, ensure the Aryn connection is ACTIVE with RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS.
- Perform multi-step workflows that reuse a session_id and include a memory payload in RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL.
- Handle large result sets or tool lists by using pagination tokens and continuing to fetch until complete.
Quick Start
- Step 1: RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS with a use_case for your Aryn task to fetch current tool schemas.
- Step 2: RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS with toolkit 'aryn' and verify the session shows ACTIVE.
- Step 3: RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL using the discovered tool_slug, the correct arguments, a session_id, and memory: {}.
Best Practices
- Always call RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS before running any workflow to get current tool slugs and schemas.
- Check RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS shows ACTIVE status before executing tools.
- Use exact field names and types from the search results and avoid hardcoding.
- Include a memory object in every RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL call, even if empty ({}).
- Reuse session IDs within a workflow and fetch new IDs only for new workflows; watch for pagination tokens.
Example Use Cases
- Discover tools for a specific Aryn task and execute the best-matching tool with the right arguments.
- If the connection drops, re-run RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS and verify ACTIVE before retrying.
- Run a multi-tool Aryn workflow by discovering slugs, validating the session, and invoking RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL.
- Update tool usage when schemas change by re-running RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS before execution.
- Perform bulk operations with RUBE_REMOTE_WORKBENCH and run_composio_tool() for batch Aryn tasks.
