How to use

YoMo is a fast stream processing server written in Rust. It runs as a command-line binary that serves as a platform for serverless functions and streaming workflows.   5. Optional: run a sample sfn (serverless function):

Notes:

  • Ensure port 9001 is available or configure networking as needed for your environment.
  • You can adapt the serverless function paths to your own functions and languages by following the repository’s examples.

Additional notes

Tips and common issues:

  • Make sure to set RUST_LOG to control log verbosity (debug for development, info for normal operation).
  • The HTTP endpoint for serverless functions is typically http://127.0.0.1:9001/sfn/{function-name}; adjust as needed for your deployment.
  • SSE stream example shows how to subscribe to a stream function; ensure your client supports EventSource or equivalent.
  • If you modify serverless functions, re-run the server or rebuild to pick up changes.
  • For production, consider configuring TLS termination and proper port exposure, and explore environment variable options in your deployment setup.
