How to use

ServerRecordMCPlugin is a Java-based Minecraft plugin designed for Spigot/Bukkit servers to manage and record server-related data for your Minecraft server. To use it, you first need a compatible Spigot/Bukkit server (commonly built around Minecraft 1.15.2) and a Java runtime. After installing the plugin, start or restart your server. The plugin will load from the plugins directory and begin collecting whatever data or features it provides (such as server records, statistics, or in-game commands) as defined by its implementation. Access to any admin commands or web interfaces will be exposed via the server console or in-game chat, depending on how the plugin was built and configured. Review the server logs after startup to confirm the plugin is loaded correctly and to see any initial configuration prompts or messages.

How to install

Prerequisites:

  • A Minecraft Spigot/Bukkit server compatible with 1.15.2
  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 8 or newer
  • Access to the server files (SSH or console)

Installation steps:

  1. Stop the Minecraft server if it is running.
  2. Locate the server's plugins directory (e.g., <server-root>/plugins).
  3. Obtain the ServerRecordMCPlugin.jar file from the official source or release page and place it into the plugins directory.
  4. Start the Minecraft server. The plugin will load automatically during startup.
  5. Check the server console for messages indicating that ServerRecordMCPlugin has loaded successfully. If there are configuration prompts, follow the on-screen instructions or edit the plugin’s config file under <server-root>/plugins/ServerRecordMCPlugin/.
  6. Verify plugin functionality by running the supported commands or accessing any features documented by the plugin (such as viewing server records or statistics).

Optional:

  • Back up your server before installation.
  • Review and customize the plugin’s configuration file after first run to tailor features to your server.

Additional notes

Notes and tips:

  • Ensure your server runs a compatible Minecraft version (1.15.2 as indicated by the plugin's compatibility).
  • If the plugin does not load, check the server logs for classpath or Java version issues and verify that Java 8+ is installed.
  • Some features may require additional permissions or operator status to run certain commands.
  • Regularly back up your plugins directory and configuration files, as updates to the plugin may modify settings.
  • If you encounter issues, consult the plugin’s release notes or repository for known issues and recommended configurations.
